Kindergarten Funding (VIC)

Kindergarten Funding (VIC)

we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality early childhood education. As an approved provider under the Victorian Government's Kinder Funding program, we offer funded kindergarten programs for both three and four-year-old children.

Understanding Kinder Funding

The Victorian Government’s Kinder Funding initiative ensures that families can access free or low-cost kindergarten programs, reducing financial barriers to early education. This funding is provided directly to approved service providers like Burwood House, enabling us to deliver quality programs without passing costs onto families.

Funding Details for Families

Three-Year-Old Kindergarten:

Program Hours: Between 5 to 15 hours per week.

Funding: The government provides rebated funding to provide a low-cost kinder program to children aged 3 years.

For example, in 2025, long daycare services receive funding per eligible child up to $2101 and 600 hours per year. The payment is a rebated cost based added alongside your childcare subsidy (CCS) reducing your overall gap fee.
